THE FUTURE FLEET WT5800: Wi-Fi Tracking Solution

Wi-Fi is the popular name for wireless technology used in both home and business networks. Supported by nearly every modern computer system, Wi-Fi was created to make access to information easier, ensuring compatibility between devices without the need for cabling, wiring, switches etc.

The Future Fleet WT5800 is ideal for applications where vehicles are operating in a Wi-Fi coverage area, for instance an airport, campus and construction, mining or excavation site. Real time communication is not required as vehicles are contained to one area, usually returning to a yard or depot on a daily or even weekly basis.

The Future Fleet WT5800 is a cost effective tracking solution where cellular or satellite communications are not available. The WT5800 stores recorded location and status changes, automatically updating this information when the vehicle enters an authorised Wi-Fi network coverage area.
